Clearview fence prices in Zimbabwe: what affects the cost per metre

“How much is Clearview per metre?” is the question we are asked most. The honest answer is that there is no single price. Two things make the biggest difference: the security level of the Clearview you choose and the height of the fence. Here is how each factor affects your quotation.

1. Security level: the biggest price factor

Clearview comes in three security levels. What separates them is the size of the gaps in the mesh. The smaller the gaps, the harder it is to get fingers or toes in to climb, or a tool in to cut, and the more steel goes into every metre.

Choose the level to match your risk. A garden boundary inside a secure property does not need palisade; a business yard or an exposed boundary should not rely on garden fence.

2. Height

Height is the second main factor. A taller fence uses more steel per metre and is harder to climb over. Our standard installation height is 2.1 m. If you need a different height, tell us when you request your quotation and we will price it.

3. Boundary length

Your total is the rate per metre multiplied by the length of the fence. That is why we always confirm measurements. Small differences in length add up on a long perimeter.

4. Gates

Gates are priced separately from the fence, by the width of the opening and the type: sliding gate, swing gate or pedestrian gate. A boundary with a gate needs the gate opening measured separately from the fence line.

5. Material only or fix and supply

You can buy the Clearview material only, or have CSO supply and install it. Material only costs less upfront, but a Clearview fence is only as strong as its installation: post spacing, alignment and fixing all matter. With fix and supply, the materials and the workmanship come from one company.

6. Extra security on top

Razor wire or security spikes can be added on top of the fence for higher-risk sites. These are priced as extras. See our Clearview fencing page for options.

7. Location and site conditions

CSO works nationwide. Sites outside Harare include transport in the quotation. Sloping ground, existing walls or pillars, and how clear the fence line is can also affect the installation.
